2012 Star Spangled Banner Commemorative Coin Launch
Eighty-one years (and two days) after President Herbert Hoover signed the law that made “The Star-Spangled Banner” the United State’s official national anthem, the U.S. Mint, and Maryland dignitaries came to Fort McHenry to launch the 2012 Star-Spangled Banner Commemorative Coin Program.
